Aphelios is a master of ranged weapons and wields five he can switch between as needed. According to lore, Alune sends him the weapon he needs. The game mechanics for them can be confusing, so for the sake of simplicity, this details what they can do in RP settings.
Alune created each weapon by asking for power from five different Celestial Beings aligned with the Moon.
Calibrum: Sniper Rifle
The first weapon Alune created for him. Powered by The Flight, representing the Full Moon. With it, he can shoot targets at a long range, and if needed, he can use his Moonshot to mark a target to light the area up slightly, enough for him to get a deadlier shot in. It fires bolts of energy instead of bullets.
Severum: Scythe Pistol
The second weapon he received from Alune. Powered by The Fangs, representing the Waning Crescent. This weapon is capable of draining the lifeforce of others and healing Aphelios of minor wounds. Aphelios is especially fast with this weapon. Possibly his favorite weapon. He can use the the scythe part as an impractical melee weapon if need be; stabbing down or slicing foreward. Mostly in close quarters he'll use the blade to block other melee weapons and shoot point blank or use his chakram. Like Calibrum it shoots bolts of energy.
Gravitum: Gravity Cannon
Powered by The Cloven Way, representing the New Moon. A non-lethal weapon, it fires a ball of black energy that increases the gravity of wherever it hits for a few seconds. Enough to stop a man in their tracks for a bit while Aphelios absconds into the night. He can, if he feels the need, he can up the gravity to crush whatever it is he's aiming at.
Infernum: Flamethrower
Powered by an unknown celestial, possibly The Silver Sister herself, representing the Waxing Moon. This flamethrower shoots magical blue fire that burns hot. It's his least favorite of his weapons, as it's the most deadly and painful, but he uses it dutifully. Still, he does like using it to blow tortch cars and such.
Crescendum: Chakram
Powered by The Sky Shadows, representing the Half Moon. It always returns to his hand after throwing it. It's the weapon with the closest range. It can create shadows of itself, for multiple projectiles. Like Severum, he can use it as a melee weapon.
